What we need to clear an exam?
Two things very important to clear an exam, Speed and Strike rate. A good speed or strike rate alone can not give you success. One without other is a good way to mess up all your performance. What is required is combination of both. Let me explain you this thing by an short story: --
I am sure you have heard the well known tale that brings out the point Slow and steady wins the race. Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare ran a race. It was agreed between them that the one who reaches a particular point first would win the race. Race thus began and the rabbit in a short time covered a long way. He looked back and saw that he had left his friend far behind. So he went into sleep thinking that when the tortoise would come up, he would take another run and beat him. But the tortoise went on slowly and steadily and won the race due to his continuous struggle while the hare was still asleep. Many years back someone came up with this story.
Now moving to these years moral of this story is no longer relevant. In the new context, being slow and steady will never bring you success. In this current world of cut throat competition you cannot imagine your competitors will sleep for a particular period. Everyone is equally awake, hustling every minute and hour to achieve their goals. Neither a student can succeed by just studying 1 hour a day even if he is consistent. To be a winner in this intense competition, you need the consistency of tortoise and speed of rabit. That's the Mantra in the newer context. So in the end I would leave you here with an inspiring thought: --
